[Gameplay]

This game was developed during GMTK 2023 for the theme "Roles Reversed". YetiFree is a reversal of the classic 90s game, "SkiFree". In YetiFree, you play as the Yeti chasing down skiers and accumulating points for all the skiers you eat. If you don't eat enough skiers, you will run out of stamina and eventually fall back into hibernation causing the game to end. Try to avoid trees/rocks to keep up your speed to catch the skiers. If you see any ski ramps, try to use them to jump and unleash a powerful ground slam killing multiple skiers.

[Controls]

Start the game by pressing the "s" key or the down arrow key.

Move Left and Right: Use either keyboard "a" and "d" keys or use the left and right arrow keys. Controller is also supported.

[High Score]

Our personal high score was 19250 during development. We would be curious to hear what everyone else gets!
